The Dears Get Props from Famous People... and Tour!

 » »

2007-01-23

Thom Yorke digs the Dears. At least, that's what his iTunes celebrity playlist says! Their song "No Hope Before Destruction," from the Ace Fu release Protest EP, is number six on Yorke's list. He says, "it sounds all soppy, oh but then all hell breaks loose." Interesting observation. Certainly everyone should test the veracity of this statement by buying their own copy of the song or CD!

OR.... you could see them play it LIVE in a city near you! The Dears are on tour now with Annuals, and trust us, you don't want to miss them. Check out the dates here, and while you're waiting in anticipation for the show, sate your appetite by buying one of our specially priced Annuals/Dears bundles in the e-store while supplies last!

Ace Fu seeks Office share

 » »

2007-01-02

Ace Fu records, is seeking a similar small, stable, creative-minded business with whom to share office space. Ace fu has been operating as an independent record label for over 8 years. Some of our more well known acts have included Pinback, Ted Leo, Man Man, and most recently Annuals. We are primarily a 2 person staff day to day with a rotating cast of 2 to 3 interns coming in at various intervals throughout the week.
We are seeking something between 14th and 50th and from 5th Ave to the West side. If you have a pre-existing space you’re looking to share, great! If not, two companies looking together is better than one.

email andy at acefu.com for more details.
