On July 1, 2007, Man Man and Illinois (along with L.A.'s Dengue Fever) are playing a free concert at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn, NY. Doors open at 3pm.

Originally named Greenpoint Park, McCarren Park was once a bustling meetingplace in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. The pool at McCarren Park was a product of the Works Progress Administration and opened its doors in the summer of 1936. It was closed in 1984, but re-opened as a rockin' concert venue with water slides in 2006.
