Illinois to Melt Face at Lollapalooza with Annuals

Lollapalooza is an American music festival featuring rock, alternative rock, hip hop, and punk rock bands, dance and comedy performances, and craft booths. Organized in 1991 by Perry Farrell, singer for the band Jane's Addiction, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, and was revived in 2003. Many feel that the festival encapsulated American youth culture for the 1990s much as Woodstock did for the 1960s; Lollapalooza Generation is sometimes used as a synonym for Generation X.
From its inception through 1997, and a revival in 2003, the festival toured North America. After poor ticket sales forced the 2004 tour to be canceled, it was retooled in 2005 by Austin, TX based Capital Sports Entertainment into its current format as a weekend destination festival in Grant Park in Chicago.

Autographed Illinois Tour Poster Giveaway!

Blogcritics and Ace Fu Records are pleased to host a giveaway of hand silkscreened posters promoting the recent Illinois/Hold Steady tour. The bands have returned home to rest and prepare for the next tour/album/fiesta, but they're not quite ready to stop giving just a little more to their fans. Five lucky contestants will get their very own hand silkscreened poster signed by the members of Illinois (see image below). How cool is that?
The giveaway is open to US residents 13 and older (minors must get approval from parents). Winners will be selected at random from qualifying entries.
How to enter the Ace Fu Records giveaway:
-Entries must be mailed to illinoisposter@acefu.com and include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
-Entries must include the subject line "Blogcritics/Ace Fu Records poster giveaway" Any entries that do not include the required subject line will be discarded without consideration.
-Only one entry per person.
-Entries must be received by June 26th.
-Winners will be drawn after June 27th.
-Winners will be notified by e-mail and in the comments section below.
-One winning entry per household.
